Lambda-Cyhalothrin

Is a Pyrethroid Insecticide with contact and stomach action, offering rapid knockdown and long residual activity, is valued for its broad-spectrum control. Pyrethroids work by disrupting the nervous channel of the insect.

More specifically the mode of action is called “sodium channel modulation” which leads to prolonged excitation of the nervous system.

When a mosquito, for instance, lands on the treated surface, the enlarged cuticle will absorb traces of the product via a process of osmosis. This will result in paralysis and death within a few minutes.
